Hello! I am Brandon O'Brian, and I am the creator and head administrator of the Japanese Film Music Forums. I created these forums after finding no forums at all dedicated to Japanese film music. Any forums involving Japanese film music is usually a place to illegally download CDs and such. I wanted to create a clean forum dedicated to Japanese film music, without all of the illegal activities, and a place for Japanese film music enthusiasts to discuss their favorite subject! The Japanese Film Music Forums is a friendly, clean and a chaos-free zone!
Born on October 1, 1995, I am 22 years old, and I love Japanese film music! That is the other reason I created these forums. My all time favorite composer is Akira Ifukube. Akira Ifukube composed around three hundred scores, and thirteen Godzilla film scores (fourteen Godzilla film scores, if counting "Godzilla vs. Gigan"). My favorite Ifukube scored films are "Giant Monster Varan" (1958), "Sakuma Dam Part 2" (1955) and "The Humpbacked Pony" (1953/1975).
Other composers I enjoy are Yasushi Akutagawa, Toru Takemitsu, Riichiro Manabe, Sei Ikeno, Toshiro Mayuzumi, Ikuma Dan, Masaru Sato and too many more to list. All in all, I love Japanese film music!
Outside of Japanese film music, I love weather, especially tornadoes. I was living in Moore, Oklahoma when a massive tornado hit on May 3, 1999. That tornado was the strongest tornado in U.S. history. I have been studying weather, with a focus on tornadoes ever since. In fact, my favorite film is "Twister" (1996). Mark Mancina's score for the film is actually my all-time favorite film score.
I love carnivorous Plants, especially Sarracenia (North American Pitcher Plants) and Nepenthes (Tropical Pitcher Plants. They simply amaze me.
I am an award winning Aquarist (retired) who specializes in livebearing fish. My favorite fish are Poecilia wingei (Endler's Livebearer) and Fundulopanchax gardneri (Gardner's Killifish).
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, outside of living on Moore, Oklahoma for around four years back in the late 1990s. I've been living in Green Bay, Wisconsin since June 2017. I hope to keep The Japanese Film Music Forums going for a long, long time!

Hello, My name is Peter, but you will know me as MrGameguycolor on here. Before, I only joined this forum just for heck of it. But after spending some time here & noticing how nice of a person Brandon is here, I decide to stay.
Some of my hobbies include going on walks, video games, chatting with anyone, doing pull ups, & going to church.
Religion wise, I am a Christian, but I prefer not to get too religious.
My favorite film of all time is "12 Angry Men" (1957), my favorite horror film is "Halloween" (1978), my favorite comedy is a 3 way tie between "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", & "Smokey and the Bandit", & my favorite kaiju film is "Godzilla Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack".
Lastly, my favorite Japanese Film Music Score is Godzilla vs Angurius, from "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla".
