Yesterday, I placed an order for Admiral of the Combined Fleet: Isoroku Yamamoto Original Soundtrack (CINK-22), composed by Masaru Sato. It's the third volume in Cinema-kan's "Toho 8-15 Soundtrack Series. This is the first in a string of war scores I've been planning to grab within the next couple of months. It should ship out tonight or sometime tomorrow during the early morning hours.  |

A short while ago, I placed an order for Turning Point in Showa History: Battle of Okinawa Original Soundtrack (CINK-23), the fourth and currently last volume in Cinema-kan's "Toho 8-15 Soundtrack Series". Music composed by Masaru Sato. This is the second in a string of war scores I've been planning to get between now and August. This particular album is one I've been wanting for a long time.  |

Turning Point in Showa History: Battle of Okinawa Original Soundtrack (CINK-23) arrived a few hours ago! It actually arrived earlier than expected, as DHL had an estimated delivery of Thursday, July 5. Anyway, I am so happy to finally have this album! Not only is it my second favorite score composed by Masaru Sato, it's also the first time I got to listen to the score in full.
